The Fairmont Pacific Rim location serves a different purpose. Business travelers need quick services between meetings. Hotel guests preparing for events. Brides wanting in-room styling for their wedding parties.

Building Wish Dry Bar

Creating something from scratch teaches you things that can't be learned any other way. You'll work harder than you imagined. Long hours become normal. But there's something special about watching your vision take physical form and seeing clients return because they trust what you've built.

The press coverage was gratifying. Western Living. Daily Hive. CBC interviews. Recognition matters. But what matters more is the stylist who's been with us since day one. The client who brings her daughter for her first professional blowout. The bride who chooses us for the most important day of her life. Those are the real measures of success.

Our space is private. We host birthdays. Bridal showers. Any occasion you want to celebrate with family and friends.

Our Team

Every stylist at Wish Dry Bar trains to our standards before touching a client's hair. That takes time. Some don't make it through.

The ones who do understand that a blowout isn't just about technique. It's about reading hair texture. Understanding face shape. Listening to what the client actually wants versus what they think they want.

Experience matters. So does continued education. Our team does both.

Products We Choose

Professional products cost more. They also perform differently.

Davines brings Italian formulations focused on sustainability without sacrificing results. Kevin Murphy combines Australian innovation with salon-grade ingredients. Kerastase offers luxury hair care treatments that provide deep nourishment and repair.

We don't stock these brands because of marketing. We stock them because they work.

The Design Details

Peter Wilds designed our West Vancouver space. He's a Vancouver-based designer who understands how environment affects experience.

Natural light matters. So does comfortable seating. And colors that make you feel calm instead of anxious.

The space isn't trendy. It's timeless. That was intentional.

Trends fade. Quality endures.
