Our Story
Wish Dry Bar was founded by Sogol Onsori in January 2021 with a clear vision: create a space where women could get beautiful hair without spending half their day in a salon chair. A place that felt luxurious without being pretentious. Where the experience mattered as much as the result.
Opening during a pandemic wasn't exactly ideal timing. Everyone advised waiting—see how things develop, delay the launch, reduce the risk. But the space on Bellevue Avenue was perfect, and sometimes the right opportunity doesn't wait for the right timing.
The North Shore community embraced what we were building. Word spread through referrals, not advertising. One satisfied client telling another. Within a year, we expanded to a second location at the Fairmont Pacific Rim in downtown Vancouver.

We use professional products from Davines, Kevin Murphy, and Kerastase because quality matters. These aren't products you find at the drugstore—they're professional-grade formulations that perform differently and deliver results you can see and feel.
Our stylists specialize in specific services. Rather than everyone doing everything, each team member develops deep expertise in their area. The stylist doing your bridal updo has done hundreds of bridal updos. The person applying your Cezanne treatment knows the product and process inside and out.
The Experience
Our Bellevue Avenue location was designed by Peter Wilds to feel welcoming and elegant. Cream walls, gold accents, and natural light create an atmosphere that's luxurious without being intimidating. We're one of the few salons in the area licensed to serve wine and champagne—because a glass of prosecco while getting styled for a special event just feels right.
Beyond beverages, we offer complimentary coffee, tea, and water. Phone chargers at every station. WiFi throughout the space. These details transform an appointment from something to get through into something to enjoy.
Every haircut includes a signature blowout, so you leave styled and ready—not with wet hair and hope. Every service includes genuine consultation about what you want and what will work best for your hair and lifestyle.
Our Services
Signature Blowouts: Our most popular service. A professional wash, conditioning treatment, and style that lasts. Choose from our menu of signature styles or describe what you want.
Bridal Hair: We work with brides throughout the North Shore and Greater Vancouver. Trials, wedding-day styling, and bridal party services. We also offer on-location styling for hotel and venue weddings.
Cezanne Treatments: This formaldehyde-free keratin treatment smooths frizz and reduces styling time dramatically. Results last 3-5 months with proper care.
Haircuts: Precision cutting for women. Every cut includes consultation about your lifestyle and styling preferences, plus a finishing blowout.
Makeup: Professional makeup application for special occasions, events, and photoshoots.
Eyebrow Threading: Precise shaping using the threading technique, which is gentler than waxing and provides clean, defined results.
