Book the trial appointment at least two to four months out. This gives you time for a second session if you want one, and keeps things relaxed rather than rushed. Many brides use their engagement photo shoot as a natural deadline, scheduling the trial beforehand so the look is already figured out.
Do the trial on a day when you have somewhere to go afterward. Wearing the style out into the real world for several hours tells you far more than looking at it in the mirror right after. See how it holds, whether it starts to feel heavy or loose, and whether you still love it at the end of the day.
Confirm your wedding day appointment two to three months before the date. In Vancouver, weekends from late April through October fill up quickly. If your wedding is a Saturday in June or September, your stylist's calendar may already be partially committed by the time you start looking.
If You Are Getting Ready Downtown
Brides getting ready at hotels near Canada Place, the Convention Centre, or along the waterfront often come to us at our Fairmont Pacific Rim location. A Note on Booking Both Hair and Makeup Together
If you are booking hair and makeup with us at the same time, plan the trial for both together. Doing them separately on different days does not give you an accurate picture of the full look or the timing involved. The morning of your wedding will involve both at once, and the trial should reflect that.
